a blue Christmas.

1. Blue Christmas, 2. blue christmas, 3. 30 Days of Christmas...Frosty, 4. blue christmas, 5. Blue Christmas, 6. Baby Blue Christmas Stockings, 7. Blue Christmas, 8. Blue Christmas, 9. Blue Christmas!
Can you tell I'm a little addicted with the Flikr mosaics? hehe...love 'em. I always like to add something visual but don't always have anything personal. A little Flikr helps set the mood. :)

Started feeling a little down last night while scrapping the January Studio Calico kit. I'm using a favorite photo of my mother and I. I can't remember anything about that particular day, I was too young. But it's my favorite and it made me sad to scrap it. The Christmas music (the sad kind like Joni Mitchell, the River) I was listening too didn't help much either. I'm feeling better this morning though. What is it about the holidays that makes you feel happy and giddy one moment, then all emotional and sad the next?

It never fails....every year I pick out something to wear to my Christmas party. Then a week before, I put together all the accessories and what not....you know, give it a trial run. Not feeling it. I feel all dumpy, not confident about this dress at all. So now I'm rushing around town trying to find something else. I did find these cute dark rinse jeans with a little shimmer sewn into them. I tried on a few tops last night at LuleBebe's but they don't accept returns and the two shirts that I wanted were a bit over my price range. I do that thing where if I really want something, I give it a day and if I can't stop thinking about it, I get it. That tactic has helped curve my impulse purchases.

Alright, enough borring personal stuff. If you're in the Anchorage area, drive safely today. The roads are terribly icy this morning. I've already heard several accidents on the radio.

Take care!
Tina

All that blue, just made me happy!!

I totally get you... The other day I was listening to my x-mas tunes and some of them really bring me down.
Plus, the family is far away and the times are hard... Sigh..

But, I pick myself up :) I have to...

The blue mosaic is delightful. My FIL is fascinated with all things blue & Christmas related. They have blue lights in the house, very pretty.
Yikes, pretty song, but every time I hear it, I get a little down too.. and the darkness is really settling in right now, so no sad music for me.
You be careful out on those roads too! I will try.

Have fun shopping.. shopping for myself always gets me down. I wish jeans and a tshirt was acceptable for everything. I might have to steal your anti-impulse buying idea, cause I don't have anything in place.
have a great day!
