Hello there

It's been one of those weeks where there is so much to be done and not enough time but I'm managing. Just extremely tired in the mornings but nothing a venti 'bucks can't take care of.

My aunt, her daughter and my grandmother are visiting from Las Vegas. It was so nice to see them last night. They're on there way to Homer this morning with my parents for a couple of days. Dad will drop them off at my house on Friday and they'll stay with us for the night. I'm a little worried about how my dogs are going to be around the little girl. They're not mean dogs, but they just get really excited with new people.

Still need to get started on the summer card swap. 32 by August 10th.....I better get started soon, like tonight. Also wanted to try out for a couple design teams too and the Darejack...er Jackdare is something I don't want miss either.

BTW, the photos above are from my parents beautiful home out in the Valley and the little red-head is my cousin and god-daughter. Well, work is almost done. I'll be headed home for more work. I hope I can squeeze a little scrappy time in...........

P.S. When I'm home, let's start another swap project. I need something like that to keep me motivated. What do ya say?

The picture with the flowers in the old churn is pretty. I like how the background is naturally desaturated.

Tina-
My little bag of goodies arrived. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I am not sure who was more excited, me or my husband. He saw the return address and eagerly inquired who I know in Alaska. Thanks for making us both smile.
